GOLDEN RUSH

Location: Milan
Year: 2019
Client: San Carlo
Designer: Daniela Fiorin
Materials: Cast glass, stainless steel

A striking example of large-scale glass design, Golden Rush is a suspended installation composed of over 1,500 unique cast glass elements in varying shades of amber and clear crystal. Installed within the atrium of the Unichips headquarters in central Milan, the work creates a dynamic, cloud-like formation that plays with light, movement, and perspective.

Each glass piece was individually cast to form a randomized swarm of organic shapes, resulting in a vibrant sculptural composition that shifts in appearance throughout the day. The installation brings material richness and visual energy to the architectural space, acting as both a centerpiece and an atmospheric element.

Scope: 1,500+ unique glass elements
