1/1/1

1/1/1 represents the work of research, experimentation and development of new techniques, materials and concepts. The collection is sparked by curiosity and driven by a passion for design. Each sculpture is an original concept by 6:AM Glassworks, handblown in Murano, Venice (Italy)

1/1/1, A SCULPTURE SERIES WHERE MURANO GLASS AND CARRARA MARBLE MEET. RANDOM MOLDS, MADE WITH RECYCLED MATERIAL FOUND AROUND THE HOT SHOP, ALLOW THE GLASS TO TAKE UNPREDICTABLE SHAPES, WHILE A SOFT IMPERFECT TEXTURE IS GIVEN BY THE MARBLE POWDER RETRIEVED FROM THE CAVES.

These pieces, crafted from blown glass using moulds made with refractory bricks from the furnace, exhibit a distinctive and irreproducible artistry. During the crafting process, the use of Carrara marble dust plays a crucial role in defining the sculptures' strong color and irregular textures: each piece has a unique shape, evoking the rugged beauty of the scars left by mountain quarries.
