At 6:AM Glass, each handcrafted piece is made with the utmost care using traditional Murano glassmaking techniques. To ensure the longevity, brilliance, and integrity of your Murano glass, please follow these detailed care instructions.
General Murano Glass Care
To preserve the beauty of your 6:AM Murano glass products:
- Use a mild detergent and lukewarm water when cleaning. Harsh or abrasive cleaners may damage the delicate surface and finish of the glass.
- Avoid thermal shock. Do not expose glassware to sudden changes in temperature (e.g., from hot to cold), which can cause cracking or breakage.
- Handle with care. Murano glass is fragile. Always wash pieces individually by hand to prevent contact damage.
- After washing, dry thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any residual moisture or cleaning solution. Never air-dry as water spots can form.
Filigrana Glassware
- Our FILIGRANA collection is dishwasher safe. However, for best results and to prevent long-term wear, use the delicate or glassware cycle with a mild detergent.
- Avoid overcrowding the dishwasher to prevent glass-on-glass contact.
TEST Collection
- For the TEST collection, do not use any cleaning products. Simply wipe the surface with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and clean water.
- This collection is not dishwasher safe and should always be cleaned manually with extra care.
